Who is responsible
Feedorbitmosac Mountain Media Ltd is responsible for personal information processed for this website and its editorial correspondence. Our address is 24 Church Street, Inverness IV1 1EB, United Kingdom; company no. SC793528. Contact [email protected] for privacy questions or rights requests.
Information in the writing tool
The contact tool reads the name, email, topic and question you enter to construct a plain-text preview. The site's JavaScript does not submit those fields to a server or save the draft in localStorage. The draft remains in the page while it is open. Your browser may independently retain form values or offer autofill according to its own settings.
Choosing Copy Message writes the preview to your device clipboard if your browser permits it. Choosing Download .txt creates a local file. Clipboard contents, downloads, backups and anything you later share are controlled by your device, browser and chosen applications.
Website delivery and preferences
Loading a website necessarily exposes connection information, including your IP address and requested resource, to the hosting service. Standard hosting security or access logs may also include request time, browser information and referrer information. These are used where necessary to deliver, secure and troubleshoot the website, based on legitimate interests in operating a reliable service.
The supplied site code includes no analytics, advertising trackers or third-party embeds. Images, styles and scripts are served locally. If you choose a cookie preference, the browser stores that choice as described in the cookie notice.
When you email us
If you send an email, we receive your address, message, any attachments and associated correspondence information. We use this to respond, review corrections, manage enquiries and keep an appropriate record. The usual lawful basis is our legitimate interest in handling correspondence; a legal obligation may apply to particular records or rights requests.
Please do not send medical records, sensitive personal information or unnecessary identifying information about children. We do not need those details to discuss our editorial content.
Sharing, retention and international processing
Information may be processed by hosting and email service providers acting on our behalf, or disclosed where required by law or necessary to establish or defend legal rights. We do not sell personal information. Where processing involves transfers outside the UK, applicable legal safeguards are required.
We keep correspondence only while needed to resolve the enquiry, maintain relevant editorial records or meet legal requirements. The appropriate period depends on the enquiry and any continuing dispute or obligation. You can ask us about the records relating to your particular correspondence. A browser preference remains until you reset it or clear site storage.
Your rights and complaints
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict use of your information, object to processing and receive certain information in a portable form. Where consent is relied on, it can be withdrawn without affecting earlier lawful processing. We may need proportionate information to verify a request.
You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK. Contacting us first may help resolve a concern, but is not a condition of contacting the regulator. No solely automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects are made by this site's tools.
External links and changes
External organisations have their own privacy practices. Following a link takes you outside this website. We may update this notice if the site's operation changes; review the current notice before sharing information.
